Abhishek Jawkar, the director of the upcoming crime thriller 'Missing On A Weekend', heaved a sigh of relief after the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) agreed to making seven cuts in the film and not 50 cuts as suggested by it earlier. According to reports, this development came a day after it was learnt that a legal notice was being sent to the Censor Board for delaying certification process.
The film was screened on June 17 for members of CBFC's examining committee, which suggested 50 cuts. According to the director, this was verbally communicated to him.

"The delay was leading to financial loss,' he was quoted as saying. The director has also no problem including a disclaimer for a U/A certificate. However, he is not quite comfortable with the idea of muting 'sniff' and 'trip', and deleting references to Goa in the dialogues, as according to him, it would look funny. He is planning to consult his lawyer on this.
