After the massive success of 'Dream Girl', the makers are all set to come up with the second instalment. Ayushmann Khurrana will lead 'Dream Girl 2' along with Ananya Panday. The first part featured Nushrratt Bharuccha as the female lead. According to the latest report, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh, who featured in the first part, have joined the sequel too.
According to a leading entertainment portal, their characters will be loaded with humour just like the first part. The entire team is taking extra efforts to ensure that the script does justice to the legacy of the first part. Ayushmann and Ananya are currently shooting for the film in Mumbai.
The report also suggests that the makers have recreated Mathura and Agra at the studio and it's all things grand and colourful. The film will reportedly hit the big screen in the second half of 2023.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann turned a year older today. His fans and colleagues have flooded social media with warm wishes. His wife Tahira Kashyap took to Instagram and penned a sweet note for him. She wrote, "Soulmate. Always by your side ♾❤️ Happy birthday to the best human being I know. My personal sunshine! You inspire me in so many ways. Kamaal insaan ho��." Have a look:
On the work front, Ayushmann will be next seen in 'Doctor G' with Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah.
