Abhishek Bachchan: ‘I share a more traditional mother-son relationship with my mom’
The beloved Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan has turned a year older today. Like everyone, he has a birthday tradition of his own. He enjoys working on his birthday and he has been doing it since the very initial days of his career. When he began working in 1998 he was shooting that year as well on his birthday.
Though he is a workaholic, his birthdays are incomplete without him spending some quality time with his family. He makes sure that as soon as his shooting schedule wraps up, he rushes home to his loved ones and celebrates the special moment of his life with the people who matter the most. And when we say people who matter the most, it would not be fair if we don't mention Abhishek's parents - the legendary artists Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.
Speaking about his bond with his mother and father, Abhishek Bachchan in a conversation with us shared, “I’m close to both of my parents. But it’s a different equation with each.”
Though his sister Shweta Bachchan once during a ‘Koffee With Karan’ episode insisted that Abhishek is Jaya Bachchan’s favourite child, the actor told us, “I share a more traditional mother-son relationship with my mom. My father is more of a friend”
“It’s very hard to differentiate between the two, but there’s a difference between my relationship with the two,” he concluded.
Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in ‘I Want To Talk.’ The actor was highly lauded for taking up the challenging role and bringing out a beautiful subject to the audience. As he celebrates his birthday today, his audience expects to see him in more diverse roles.
