Going by the buzz in trade circles,
Abhishek Bachchan and
Meezaan Jaaferi
may be coming together for the Hindi remake of
'Oh My Kadavule'
. Those in the know believe that the two actors are likely to work together for this romantic fantasy film that will be directed by
Ashwath Marimuthu, who also made the original Tamil film.
Shalini Pandey who was the leading lady of the Telugu hit
'Arjun Reddy'
(which was remade in Hindi as
'Kabir Singh'
) is being considered to play the heroine of the film. At present, the Hindi adaptation of the film is being worked on and is likely to go on the floor by the end of next month.
Meezaan had his second release
'Hungama 2'
in which his work was appreciated and the young actor is also working with
Priyadarshan in a thriller. Abhishek Bachchan has begun shooting for another South remake ‘Otha Seruppu’ directed by Parthiepan who made the original Tamil thriller.
Abhishek has had a busy pandemic phase as his film
'Big Bull'
released on OTT and he has shot for 'Dasvi' and
'Bob Biswas'
, too. He will soon be starting the shoot of the web series 'Breathe 2'. The actor was in the news recently for sustaining a fracture during his shoot in Chennai, for which he was briefly admitted to the hospital, too.
