On television
I remember working with Gautami in Kuch Na Kaho. I think it will be interesting to know what Gautami has to say about her role as Tulsi, a character that has become almost iconic on TV’

On food
I have eaten crocodile meat in Australia. It was okayish. It tasted quite like chicken, only a bit more chewy. I am not a very experimental eater and not at all a foodie, contrary to what people think of me. I love homemade food and I can have chicken curry and rice every day. In fact, I can also cook some lovely chicken zaffrani. I am quite fond of junk food and am partial towards frankies, vada pavs, bhutta and sev puri’

The Times of India is known for its reliability. I’m not too fond of Page 3, because in my time, Page 3 was associated with something else! But it’s an entertaining page, one that people vicariously like to be a part of’
On fitness
‘Nowadays, people don’t like to watch actors who are out of shape. I hope to emulate actors like John, Hrithik, Salman and SRK some day. They are so dedicated and work out religiously in the gym. I think I should get myself a trainer’
On wifey dear
Aishwarya and I were good friends before we started seeing each other. When we did our first few films together we had not thought that one day we would get married. Love just happened. If I had to describe my wife in one word, I would say she is wonderful. One of her habits that I have come to adore is her making sure that I eat healthy food and not eat too much of junk’
On travelling
Every city in Switzerland is like a postcard. The place is so immensely beautiful. I have been a student at the Aiglon School in Switzerland and we would often go biking on the hills as students. It is also very safe. If you ever lose your wallet there, you can be sure someone will give it to back to you within two days’
On Hollywood
Unfortunately, when Aishwarya and I went to Cannes, we couldn’t meet any of the Hollywood couples. For me, any couple that’s been together for more than ten years can be called the ‘IT couple’, like Warren Beatty and Annette Bening. But I think actors should be called ‘IT’ or ‘most happening’ depending on their performances, rather than their personal lives’
