Abbas’s son gears up for acting career

Mustafa Burmawalla, son of Abbas (of Abbas-Mustan director duo), is all set to join the industry. But as the youngster waits for his turn to make his full-fledged acting debut, he has joined his dad to understand the industry better.
Mustafa, who was seen in a cameo opposite Sonam Kapoor in 'Players', now spends time poring over his dad’s scripts and is part of regular meetings.Like any industry kid, he wants to do his homework well before kick-starting his career in Bollywood. “He is trying every thing and wants to understand the nuances of the craft before he decides what he wants to do,” said a source.
Mustafa told TOI, “My dad and uncle are in the process of writing their next scripts. I am trying to understand various aspects of filmmaking and learn from their vast experience. I am also taking acting and diction classes.”
