'Abba will get really angry': Kareena Kapoor says Taimur, Jeh are more afraid of Saif Ali Khan
Kareena Kapoor recently revealed that her sons, Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan, aren’t scared of her but of their father, Saif Ali Khan. The actress further shared that she often tells them, 'Abba will get really angry,' to make them listen and follow instructions.
On Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Kareena talked about Saif as a father. She said he is playful and fun, spending quality time with their sons, Taimur and Jeh, and joining in their favorite activities.
Kareena shared, “I also feel that fathers are there to make friends with their boys, to understand them and make them feel comfortable about a lot of things. So he does a lot of that. He’s more into playing sports with them. He plays cricket and football, and he loves playing the guitar and drums with them. So we kind of balance it out”.
But Saif can still be the authority figure when needed. Kareena said, “None of us really get angry. But if you want to get something done, you say, ‘Okay, Abba will get really angry,’ because the boys, more than me, are scared of Saif.”
While Jeh avoids gadgets, Taimur has his own unique passions. Kareena explained that her elder son is not drawn to the glamour of acting but is a huge cricket fan, particularly of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. “He is too young. He only knows that we are going for shooting. Taimur has never even met any other actors. The only thing he asks me is, ‘Are you friendly with Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli? Can you message him and ask if I get that bat of his?’ I am like, ‘I don’t have his contact.’ He never asked me about any actor. He wants to ask a question to Virat Kohli. He also loves Chelsea,” Kareena said.
