Aayush Sharma on traumatic trolling experience: Today, I want to thank them

Aayush Sharma, actor and brother-in-law of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, recently opened up about a harrowing experience of online trolling that left him emotionally shattered.

During the release of his debut film, 'Loveyatri,' which was produced by Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma became the target of relentless criticism, with many blaming him for allegedly squandering Khan's resources. However, the controversy reached an appalling low when a particularly cruel troll suggested that Salman should have launched a dog instead of Aayush.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Aayush Sharma tearfully recounted the hurtful remark and its profound impact on him. He expressed his deep-seated desire for his children to be proud of him and revealed how the incident served as a pivotal moment in his life. "That day is what made me," he confessed, reflecting on the emotional turmoil he endured.

"When my son grows up and goes on the Internet and reads about his father...some person wrote that 'his father is a dog' that for me was..." Aayush Sharma said.

Despite the adversity he faced, Aayush Sharma acknowledged that the harsh comment ultimately spurred him to strive for personal growth and self-improvement. "Today, I want to thank them," he remarked, addressing his detractors. "You kicked me to become this person." He emphasized that his children serve as a constant source of motivation, compelling him to leave behind a positive legacy.

Following the lukewarm reception of ‘Loveyatri’ at the box office, Aayush Sharma joined forces with Salman Khan once again, this time sharing the screen with him in "Antim."

While the film achieved moderate success, Aayush Sharma is now gearing up for the release of ‘Ruslaan.’ Directed by Karan Lalit Butani, the film is slated to hit theaters on April 26th.
