Aarya Babbar was supposed to begin shooting for director Aryeman Ramsay's, 'Yeh Kaisa Khiladi' in which he was playing a cop. However, he is asked to move out of the film as he wasn't ready to shave off his beard, as per a report on Mid-Day.com. The actor has kept the beard for his TV show where he assays the role of

The report also quotes the director saying that Aarya refused to shave his beard for the role as it would hamper his role in the TV show. The director further said that they had no option but to drop Aarya and hunt for a replacement.
Aarya Babbar: I was born to play Raavan Meanwhile, the actor had another facet of the story to relay. He is quoted saying that the filmmakers never gave anything in writing about the presence of the facial hair and that he feels that his character of Raavan is a big hit and he won't risk it to act in a film with uncertain future. The actor also mentioned that he has returned the signing amount to the makers.
Interestingly, the pivotal role was given to Aarya as a wedding gift recently. It can perhaps be said that the gift was returned unopened.
