Aamir won't meet SRK this Christmas

The actor will give away his lucky release period of Christmas to avoid clash with Shah Rukh’s Don2
Christmas has always been lucky for Aamir Khan. Be it his Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini or 3 Idiots all his films turned out to be super successful when released on Christmas. Call it as his impeccable timing or his luck but Christmas has always been a reason to celebrate for Aamir.However things are about to change in 2011 where his film was first scheduled for Christmas but subsequently postponed.
Aamir Khan’s next film to be directed by Reema Kagti was scheduled to release on Christmas along with Shah Rukh Khan’s Don 2. But now Kagti’s film release date has been shifted to next year. Reason? Kagti is yet to start the shoot. And the production, marketing and publicity of the film won’t be possible in 2011. On the other hand Farhan Akhtar has almost finished shooting his film Don 2 and is working on the post production now.
Interestingly both the films are produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. Now with the shift of Aamir’s film, King Khan will have not competition. Let’s see if Christmas proves as lucky for Shah Rukh too!
