Meanwhile, fans are still processing the news about Aamir Khan’s new relationship. Reports from Mid-Day suggest that while Aamir and Gauri’s romance began a year ago, they have known each other for over 25 years.
Gauri Spratt, who is originally from Bengaluru, is currently working at Aamir Khan Films. She has a background in hairdressing and holds an FDA in Fashion, Styling, and Photography from the University of Arts, London. Born to a Tamilian mother and an Irish father, she also has a family legacy—her grandfather was a freedom fighter. Gauri is a mother to a six-year-old son.
During Aamir’s pre-birthday celebration, he requested the paparazzi to respect Gauri’s privacy and not take any photos. He said, She is still getting used to the Bollywood madness." Aamir also revealed that his family has warmly accepted Gauri. “I thought it would be a nice occasion for you all to meet her; besides, we won’t have to keep hiding. The actor shared an idea of marriage at 60, saying, “I don’t know at the age of 60, mujhe shaadi shobha deti hai ki nahi." He also stated that his children are happy with the relationship, adding, “I am very fortunate to have such great relationships with my ex-wives."
Professionally, Aamir Khan first married Reena Dutta in 1986, and they have two children, Ira and Junaid Khan. They divorced in 2002. In 2005, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and they separated in 2021. They share a son, Azad, born via surrogacy. Aamir maintains a cordial relationship with both his ex-wives.
