Reports suggested that the actor was planning a film based on the infamous Meghalaya honeymoon murder case, where a woman named Sonam allegedly conspired with her lover to kill her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon. The story, gripping as it may be, was quickly picked up and circulated without confirmation.

Aamir responds with clarity

But Aamir Khan has now decisively shut down the speculation. In a brief but clear response shared with Bollywood Hungama, the actor stated, “There is absolutely no truth to it.” He further admitted to being puzzled by how these kinds of stories even begin. “I honestly don’t know where these stories start,” he added, brushing off the sensational claims.

Aamir’s denial leaves no room for ambiguity; he is not working on any film connected to the Meghalaya case, nor has he shown any interest in doing so.

Focus stays on upcoming work

Currently, Aamir Khan is riding high on the success of 'Sitaare Zameen Par,' his latest film that has performed well at the box office. With that chapter closed, he’s already gearing up for what’s next, a special appearance alongside superstar Rajinikanth.

“Mine is a cameo in a Tamil action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj,” Aamir shared, hinting that while the role may be brief, it holds significance in the storyline. “I can’t say much about my role, but I come in at a crucial point in the plot,” he said.
