Aamir Khan has quit social media but updates about his personal life continue to go viral on Instagram. Case in point being a recent pooja he performed at his production house.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ director Advait Chandan shared a series of pictures on Instagram wherein Aamir is seen performing a pooja with ex-wife Kiran Rao at their office premises. The couple also performed aarti and several staff members too participated in the rituals held at Aamir Khan productions office. Aamir’s son Junaid made a rare appearance at the ceremony and was captured in a candid mood. The purpose of this ritual has not been revealed yet.
Aamir and Kiran had announced their separation last year, ending their 15-year-long marriage. However, they continue to co-parent son Azad Rao Khan and are often spotted holidaying together. On the work front, Aamir announced a break from acting to spend more time with his family. He had shared, “I was supposed to do 'Champions' remake. It's a wonderful script, it's a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film but I feel I want to take a break. I want to be with my family, I want to be with my mom and my kids. I feel I have been working for 35 years and I have single mindedly been focused on my work. I feel this is not fair to people who are close to me. It is not fair to me also in many ways. I plan to take this time off to experience life in a different way.” Aamir recently confirmed that he is planning to return to work after a year’s break.
