Aakanksha Singh: I explore some new place whenever I visit Delhi

Every time Aakanksha Singh is in Delhi, she gets to explore something that she has never heard or seen before, says actress Aakanksha Singh, who was recently here for an outdoor shoot schedule. This time when she was here, Aakanksha was shooting at Majnu Ka Tila, the place she never knew existed in Delhi. “It was so different from what I have seen in Delhi. There were narrow lanes with a Buddha temple and I was told that there was a monastery close to the location where we were shooting.I could not explore more as I had a tight schedule, but I would definitely like to see more of that place,” said Aakanksha, who was in Delhi after a long time for the shoot. After completing her shoot in Delhi, Aakanksha took out some time to visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.

The actress, who belongs to Jaipur and has worked in TV shows like Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha and Gulmohar Grand before doing films like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is currently busy shooting for some web shows and her upcoming film Mayday with Ajay Devgn. She says that it was good to travel to Delhi in between her shoots, even when it was for work. “I am from Jaipur and I had less chance to come to Delhi for holidays. When I am here for work, my schedule is very tight, but I love being in this city. I love the people here. It is just that pollution here makes things difficult for me sometimes. I am asthamatic and I need to be careful about that when I am here,” said Aakanksha, adding that she is happy to be travelling and working regularly now. “I have been shooting throughout the pandemic and I am grateful that I had work. Like many others in the industry, I also lost some work as releases were postponed, but I still do not have any complaints. I am happy that I am safe and my family is safe and healthy,” said Aakanksha.
