Aahana Kumra: Delhi is like my second home

Born and brought up in Lucknow, actress Aahana Kumra shares a great bond with Delhi. From Delhi’s theatre scene to the city’s famous street food, Aahana loves everything about the city, except its traffic. “I am pretty familiar with Delhi. I keep coming back to the city as my uncle lives here. So, Delhi is like my second home,” she says. Aahana tells us that she really looks forward to coming here.“Coming to Delhi is always exciting as I get to eat extremely delicious food here. Mumbai ke khaane mein woh flavour hi nahin hai jo yahaan milta hai. When in Delhi, I also prefer eating out at a dhabha or a roadside thela. Chhole kulche ka mazza jo thele par hai woh kisi restaurant mein baithke khaane mein nahin hai.”
On her recent visit to the city, Aahana also got introduced to the city’s infamous traffic. “I was travelling from Greater Kailash to Mahipalpur and it took me nearly two hours. I had always heard about Delhi’s traffic, but today, I experienced it for real. I have to say it’s really bad,” Aahana says.
