Aaditi Pohankar opens up about shooting intimate scenes with Bobby Deol in 'Aashram': 'He was like, ‘Tu itni chilled out hai yaar’

In a recent interview, the actress spoke about filming an intimate scene with Bobby Deol in 'Aashram' and how the Animal actor was amused by her ease.

In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Aaditi Pohankar shared an interesting behind-the-scenes anecdote about filming intimate scenes with Bobby Deol in 'Aashram'. “Filming with Bobby Sir was like a task in itself. I was like, ‘Bobby Sir, it’s okay, it’s okay.’ He said, ‘Tu itni chilled out hai yaar, Pammi’ – he calls me Pammi. He was like, ‘Tu itni chill out hai.’ With Chandan (Roy Sanyal), it was different. He would say, ‘Scene pata hai? Kya kare? Kuch toh alag karte hain yaar. Chal, let’s do this,’ and then we’d try things like throwing flowers and other improvisations. I would look at him, and we were both in character. With Bobby Sir, I also tried to improvise, but I couldn’t shock him. With Chandan, I can shock him, and he can shock me, " she stated.


'Aashram' is a widely acclaimed crime drama web series directed by Prakash Jha. The show delves into themes of blind faith, power, and corruption within religious institutions. Aaditi plays the role of Pammi, a young wrestler who initially becomes a devoted follower of Baba Nirala, portrayed by Bobby Deol, but later transforms into a determined seeker of justice.
