A visit to Amber Fort, elephant rides: Akshay Kumar, Twinkle welcome 2025 in Jaipur

Bollywood stars celebrated the New Year in exotic locales, with Akshay Kumar choosing Jaipur to ring in 2025 with his wife Twinkle Khanna, son Aarav, and daughter Nitara. The family opted to explore Jaipur's rich heritage. On New Year's Eve, they visited Amber Fort. However, faced with massive crowds at the fort's hilltop entrance, they decided to turn back, a common challenge during Rajasthan's peak tourist season. Instead, they headed to Jaipur’s Elephant Village, where they enjoyed fun activities and an elephant ride.

On Thursday, the family was spotted at Jhalana Leopard Safari Park. As per sources, despite spending two hours in the jungle, they couldn’t spot a leopard but enjoyed sightings of other wildlife. Twinkle later shared her New Year experience on Instagram with a touch of humour. Posting a video, she wrote, “Started the New Year in Jaipur, balancing a shopping spree, a party at the palace with my son, and a clock-watching race to ring in 2025 in our hotel room with my husband and daughter.” She added, “Me at 11:59? Cinderella with mascara smudges and a shoe bite. How did your midnight moment look - glamorous or gloriously chaotic?”
