Love-cum-arranged marriage

Anshul and Ateet met in Mumbai two years ago, but the actress says that it was a love-cum-arranged marriage and she had to convince her family for marriage. “Though he is also Rajput, it took time to convince my family because it was sort of a love-cum- arranged marriage. I considered this because he is a Rajput boy and I did not want to upset my parents. But for them, it was a new thing because they have not stepped out of Noida. Woh initial hiccups thay, but they trusted me and when they met his family, they were more than happy,” the actress had told us earlier. Ateet told us at the sangeet ceremony, “Last year was a tough one for everyone, our plans got delayed. From our engagement till today, it has been a journey of ups and downs, but I am glad that we are finally getting married.”

‘Wanted to dance and have fun, so avoided wearing a lehenga’

The actress said, “I am feeling very emotional right now as I have been at home for the last one month and spending time with my parents. I am very attached to them. As these ceremonies are taking place, I am reminded that now things will change.” Adding on her choice of outfit for the sangeet ceremony, Anshul said, “I wanted to dance and have fun, so I avoided wearing a heavy lehenga or anything similar.”
