The 67th Wolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022 has kickstarted in full swing. B-Town celebs have graced the biggest night in style. Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor are making sure to entertain the audience with their crackling camaraderie. Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has got teary-eyed as he got honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony.
He has given films like Kalicharan, Vishwanath, Karz, Hero, Ram Lakhan and others to name a few. The award was presented to Ghai by Maharashtra's Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis. After receiving the award, the noted filmmaker took a walk down memory lane and reminisced good old days.
Subhash said, "Back in 1965, on this very event, I had come here as a finalist for an award. Life does come full circle. Today, I owe this award to my mom. Back then, I was legit nobody. I started knocking doors of directors and producers’ for opportunities around. I knew no one around. I didn’t know how I could survive."

Agar kadam badhaye hai, toh peechhe matt hatna. Kaam kabhi 19-20 nahi karna, hamesha 21 karna'. She also told me, ‘I am my biggest competition’. I feel a thousand emotions today. I call myself lucky, that this award was being presented to me by Devendra Fadnavis. I’ve made every film with my heart today. Never worries whether the film would work or not. Never worried about box office numbers, or good scenes or edits. All of the money which I have made with my films, I have invested in my college. I am really blessed."
Ranveer was also seen praising Ghai and his contribution to Indian cinema. He said, "Subhash Ghai’s contribution to cinema is unparalleled. He is the reason I love Hindi films. You made me fall in love with cinema."
