Writer-filmmaker Harry Sachdeva's thriller 31st October that ran into troubled waters over a PIL filed by a political party worker demanding a ban on the film, has found appreciation within the Sikh community. The film, toplining Soha Ali Khan and Vir Das, revolves around the aftermath of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassination in 1984. The film has found takers in the turbaned community for touching upon a subject that no one had dared to. The filmmaker is naturally relieved. Harry told a leading daily that he is thankful to the members of the cultural group for showing support for his film. He has even refused to bow down to any threat or more PILs demanding a ban on his film. More power to filmmakers!
