Aamir Khan was seen attending the recent special screening of his 1999 film ‘Sarfarosh’ as it completed 25 years since its release on April 30. It became one of the classic cults and was critically acclaimed.

As all team members were present at the event, the actor talked about a sequel to this film. But what really grabbed attention is the actor’s concern over a particular thing he has done in the film which he still feels like changing.

While attending the special screening at PVR Juhu, Mumbai, Aamir reacted to a question about playing a typical Bollywood cop role in the film. The actor reacted that it was the major strength of the film. Aamir clarified it by stating that he still gets a lot of reviews from real-life police officers including constables, IPS-ranked officers, when they meet him or get a chance for random chats. They all love the film as they could connect with the plot. They all say it is just their own story. Aamir credited this to the director who tried to make it as real as possible. This is the strength of his script which made it both real and thrilling mainstream at the same time.

While sharing this, the actor revealed what he was really disturbed about while shooting the film. The actor was doing some other projects while doing ‘Sarfarosh’. He could not shorten his hair as much as it needed for the role because it would ruin the continuity of his other projects. Now, whenever he watches the film he feels like, “Can’t we take this scene once again?”.

Directed by John Matthew Matthan, 'Sarfarosh’ featured Naseeruddin Shah, Aamir Khan, and Sonali Bendre in main roles.
