Dancing diva
Malaika Arora has always been camera's favourite muse. The '
Chaiyya Chaiyya
' star was recently spotted show stopping at the
Lakme Fashion Week where she exclusively caught up with TimesofIndia.com for a tête-à-tête.
Talking about her personal style, the actress shared her piece of mind on how style is individualistic and that trends don't define her personal style statement. "Style is individualistic. It depends on my mood when I want to wear just a pair of jeans and a white top. There are times when I just want to be red carpet ready or times when I just want to be in my casuals. It's very mood driven. I wouldn't say trends dictate my style or fashion sense, I don't think they do but I like to keep abreast with the ongoing trends," she said.
Children of popular stars are turning heads with their sartorial choices, when asked if her son
Arhaan
is as fashion forward as his mum, she confessed, "I can see he is growing up now, earlier he didn't use to be bothered to spend that extra ten minutes in front of the mirror doing his hair or getting his look right. Now he's aware, let's keep it like that," she said.
Quiz her if she makes sure that her son dresses up right for the paparazzi and she quipped, "Not at all. I am like c'mon get on with it and go to school but I guess somewhere now he's growing up. He's aware and he's in tune with what's happening."
While on one side
Bollywood
is beaming with a fresher lot in abundance of star kids,
Arbaaz Khan and Malaika's son Arhaan has managed to stay off the limelight so far. When asked about his plans for Bollywood, Malaika revealed, "I don't know. (It) Depends on what he wants to do. You automatically think your child wants to walk down the same road but it is his call. How and where he wants to go ten years down the line."
