Image of a bold actress has stuck with people: Hansa Singh on her roles in the films

has been a part of both Bollywood and OTT and impressed everyone with her performances. As an artist, she is always ready to walk that extra mile to do more. The actress says, “I am driven by character, not by the medium. So both films and OTT and even films made for OTT are satisfying. I enjoy working. Competition in both films and OTT is huge. And it does affect the opportunities the actor is looking for. The place on top is less. It’s like a pyramid, so the competition. Having said that in the given scenario what’s meant for me comes to me. But yes, I am waiting for roles that make me smile."
Bold scenes are part of many projects. Some people are of the opinion that it has become a trend. However, Hansa is not comfortable doing such scenes. She explains, "If something is essential for the story and it’s a good character I might consider getting out of my comfort zone. Not just for the titillation of the audience. Again, how one shoots the scene is important. Not all stories have bold scenes. But then even a rape scene can be bold. So what I am seeing these days is that we all have to cater to different audiences. I deny most of the bold scenes as I don’t see anything in it. Hunterrr the film had a meaning. And the scenes were beautifully executed.
Not just in the real world, Hansa is known for her bindass avatar online as well. “Thanks to my films Hunterrr and Spa Secrets, which I feel is loved by people all across the globe. The image of me being bold has stuck with people. Acting is my job and I am passionate about it. Any character that is devised beautifully I will give my nod. But people fail to understand that playing those characters doesn't make me that. What you see on Instagram is probably what you might see in films or OTT. So I'm wondering what makes my content bold. I show online what can be seen in my acting. I call it being confident of your craft. Period,” she ends.
