Did you know 'Student of the Year 2' director Punit Malhotra had multiple cameos in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'?

The star cast of 'Student of the Year 2' – Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, recently revealed a factoid about Karan Johar's megahit 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', that will leave the best movie trivia contest winners shocked.

Interestingly, the film featured Punit Malhotra, the director of 'Student of the Year 2', in a special appearance – not once, but twice. During a recent interview, the cast revealed that Punit featured in the film twice. In one scene, where he played the bowler, who gives a “tough look” to Hrithik Roshan's character before bowling to him.

Later in the film, there's another scene where an orange sweater-clad Shah Rukh Khan features in the song Vande Mataram. But after the first shot, Hrithik's character mistakes a man wearing a similar shirt to be the character played by Shah Rukh. The person he pats on the shoulder, thinking he's his brother, is again, Punit Malhotra.
