The latest news that has surfaced related to Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi' is that veteran actress Neena Gupta will play Akshay Kumar's mother in the film.
Neena Gupta recently made headlines for her interesting role of a pregnant mother in Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra's 'Badhaai Ho' and now, the actress is busy doing plays and shall soon start shooting for Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi'.
Interestingly, not all might be knowing that it is not for the first time that Akshay Kumar will be working with Neena Gupta.Neena Gupta has shared the screen with Akshay in 'Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahi' years back. The movie has the late Sridevi as the female lead.
Moreover, Akshay is just eight years younger to Neena Gupta and will be playing her son onscreen.
