Anushka Sharma has opened to a below-expected collection on its first day. The highly anticipated film sees
Shah Rukh Khan essaying the role of a dwarf man for the first time. However, the film has opened to mixed reviews. 'Zero' is Shah Rukh Khan's major release in 2018 after he made his last appearance in 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' in 2017.
The film hit the screens yesterday on December 21.

However, the opening day collection is lower than it should have been as touted. The film is expected to do well in its first weekend.
The story of the film revolves around Bauua Singh (Shah Rukh Khan), a vertically challenged man who squanders his father’s money and is besotted by superstar Babita Kumar (Katrina Kaif). He falls in love with a scientist, Aafia (Anushka Sharma) who is affected by cerebral palsy. Their love story travels from India to the US and all the way to the outer space.
