'Veere Di Wedding' box-office collection Day 12: Shashanka Ghosh's multi-starrer women-centric film rakes in Rs 1.60 crore

Filmmaker Shashanka Ghosh's women-centric film 'Veere Di Wedding' which stars Sonam K Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhasker in pivotal roles, is winning hearts of the audience even in its second week at the box-office and giving its competitors a good run for their money.

The film has shown us the camaraderie between the leading ladies and after collecting Rs 54.46 crore in its first week, the film has raked in another Rs 1.60 crore on its Day 12, which has taken its total collection to Rs 69.31 crore.

Talking about being a part of the film, Kareena had said, “When Rhea Kapoor approached me with the story, I loved it and wanted to be a part of this world. It's in a different space from what I have done earlier. I believe strong women lift each other up and Veere Di Wedding reinstates that women bring out the best in you.”
