'Uri' box office collection Day 40: The Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer film sees an upward trend on its sixth Tuesday

Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' has no intentions to stop at the box office as the film saw an increase in the collection on its sixth Tuesday. The Aditya Dhar directorial remains unaffected despite fresh competition at the box office and continues its successful run. The film has collected a total of Rs 228.43 crore at the box office in forty days. The fifth-week collection stands at a total of Rs 18.25 crore. The film has collected a total of Rs 9.65 crore in its sixth week till now.The film is based on the surgical strikes carried out on September 29, 2016, by the Indian Army on terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control. The strikes were carried out in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month.Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala. 'Uri' was announced by the producer after one year of the surgical strike in September 2017. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and Mohit Raina in lead roles.
