Tubelight' was one of the much-awaited films of this year. Although it did not fare well at the box office when it comes to crashing records, the film nonetheless went past the Rs 100 crore club in just six days of its release.

With an overwhelming response in the first week, the film collected as much as Rs 102.57 crore. The second weekend saw an upward graph with Friday's collections being Rs 2 crore followed by Rs 2.50 crore and Rs 3 crore on Saturday and Sunday.

This is also Salman's shortest film thus far, with his previous films like 'Sultan', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' ranging between 2 hours and 45 minutes to 3 hours. The film was cleared with just one verbal cut.
'Tubelight' may not have fared as well as expected at the box-office, but that has done little to wipe the smile off leading man Salman Khan's face. The star was spotted teaming up with his adorable co-star Matin Rey Tangu at the film studios, for what appears to be a photo shoot. Both Salman and little Matin dressed in matching leather jackets and flashed their widest smiles for the cameras as they posed together on the sets.
