Farhan Akhtar in the lead roles has witnessed a dull first weekend after opening to a slow start. The film failed to grow through the weekend, however, Saturday saw growth as it was a multiplex film but could not grow on Sunday as outside the metros the film is hardly seeing any collection.
As per the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Sunday, the film has raked in a total of Rs 4 crore on its third day at the box office. The film has managed to rake in a total of Rs 10.50 crore in three days at the box office.
The first-weekend collection of the film is lower than the second-weekend collection of Joaquin Phoenix starrer 'Joker', despite both the films having a target audience of high-end multiplexes and metro cities only. It will be a tough ride for the Priyanka Chopra starrer going over the weekdays after such a low first-weekend figure.
‘The Sky Is Pink', directed by Shonali Bose, is based on the incredible love story of a couple spanning 30 years, told through the lens of their teenage daughter. The film also marks Priyanka's Hindi production debut and also stars
Zaira Wasim and Rohan Saraf. The film hit the screens on October 11.
