Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon made a significant mark at the box office by earning a whopping Rs 55.10 crore in its opening weekend. The romantic drama, directed by first-time filmmakers Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, garnered attention for its fresh storyline and captivating performances.
However, despite its promising start, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has faced a downturn in its collection on Monday, witnessing a sharp decline of nearly 65 per cent.
According to Sacnilk, the film is expected to earn approximately Rs 3.75 crore on its fourth day, bringing its total collection to Rs 30.85 crore. While the dip in collections is worrisome, it remains to be seen if the film maintains a steady pace at the box office despite the weekday slump.
The film, which hit theaters with much anticipation, received a warm reception from audiences in its opening weekend. Fans flocked to cinemas to witness the chemistry between Shahid and Kriti for the first time.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya features Shahid in the role of Aryan, an engineer who decides to marry a robot, named Sifra, played by Kriti. The movie also stars veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.
