Swatantra Veer Savarkar box office collection: Randeep Hooda starrer to cross Rs 20 crore mark today

Randeep Hooda's dual role as an actor and director in 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar', where he portrays Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, has received a lot of acclaim. Despite this, the film hasn't resonated with the audiences in comparison to other films like 'Article 370' and 'The Kerala Story', which belong to the same genre Nevertheless, 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar', is all set to cross the Rs 20 crore mark at the box office on Sunday. This is going to be a very monumental feat for the film as its reported budget was Rs 20 crore.

In the first week, the film minted Rs 11.35 crore and in the second week it added Rs 6.4 crore into its kitty, taking its two week collection to Rs 17. 75. 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar', on its third Friday, earned Rs 50 lakhs and on Saturday it showed a more than 100 percent hike to collect Rs 1.05 crore, reports Sacnilk. WIth these numbers, the collection now stands at Rs 19.20 crore. And going by the trend, the film is expected to cross Rs 20 crore mark today.
'Swatantra Veer Savarkar', in its third week, will face competition from two big releases as 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ajay Devgn's 'Maidaan' are releasing on April 10.
