'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' box-office collection Day 1: Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer earns Rs 2.50 crore

'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead, has opened at the box-office with a collection of an estimated Rs 2.50 crore, according to a report on Boxofficeindia.com.

Directed by R.S. Prasanna 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' is a remake of his Tamil film 'Kalyana Samayal Saadham' made in 2013. The story revolves around Mudit Sharma (Ayushmann Khurrana) and Sugandha (Bhumi Pednekar) who fall in love and plan to get married.But the twist in the tale comes when the groom discovers that he suffers from erectile dysfunction.
The film which shares the domestic box office business with Milan Luthria's 'Baadshaho' starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, and Ileana D'Cruz, has been able to stand tall at the ticket window.
