Shirin Farhad ki nikal padi? Not really!

Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi met with a dull response at the box-office, collecting just around Rs 6 crores in its opening weekend.Farah Khan's debut as an actress and Bela Bhansali Sehgal's debut as a director, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi was saved more by Boman Irani. The film opened on a slow note and couldn't pick up even despite a good word of mouth. It managed to collect around Rs 6 crores which is poor.The other release of the week Delhi in a Day had a limited release and despite positive reviews couldn't make much noise at the box-office. Meanwhile Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger continued to mint money at the box-office in its second week.The coming week sees the release of Akshay Kumar's Joker. Despite a big starcast, the film hasn't been able to make the kind of noise one would have expected before its release.The other release include Nila Madhab Panda's Jalpari, Saurabh Shukla's IM 24 and From Sydney with Love.
