Zaira Wasim’s new film ‘Secret Superstar’ has received rave reviews from the critics but got an average response at the box-office. The film collected around Rs 3.50 crore on its second Saturday (Day 10), taking its total to around Rs 46.65 crore, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

The film had collected around Rs 41.15 crore in its first week.
Zarim Wasim plays the lead role in the film which has her ‘Dangal’ father Aamir Khan in a special role. The film revolves around the school-going girl Insia Malik, played by Zaira, who aspires to become a singer but is not allowed by her overbearing father. So she takes the online route by keeping her identity secret with the help of a small time music director Shakti Kumar (Aamir Khan) helps her.
Meher Vij plays Zaira Wasim’s mother in the film that depicts the beautiful mother-daughter bond. How she helps her without her husband’s knowledge to make her happy looks beautiful on screen.
