'Sanju' box-office collections Day 16: Ranbir Kapoor starrer rakes in Rs 6.75 crore

Ever since Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Sanju' hit the screens there's been no stopping for the film. If recent reports on BoxofficeIndia.com are anything to go by the Rajkumar Hirani helmed biopic has already crossed the Rs 300 crore mark.

According to the report, 'Sanju' minted Rs 6.75 crore on Saturday, taking the total of 16-day collections to Rs 300.5 crore at the ticket windows.
Although the film was slammed by the critics for whitewashing Dutt's image, the film is still managing to pull crowds to the cinema halls as the audience is quite keen on knowing more about the Khalnayak's controversial life story. Ranbir, who has delivered the biggest hit of his career with 'Sanju', has been receiving praise from all quarters for his earnest portrayal of Bollywood's bad boy.

Apart from the movie, the songs of the film are also topping music charts. The audience seems to have taken a liking to the hit numbers like 'Ruby', 'Badhiya', 'Kar Har Maidaan Fateh' and the latest 'Mujhe Chaand Pe Le Chalo'.
Directed by Hirani, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles.
