Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ earned a lot of praise through word of mouth publicity, but the film has not witnessed any massive jump in collection.
On its 15th day, ‘Sam Bahadur’ added Rs 2.25 crore to its total, which now stands at Rs 66.85 crore, reports sacnilk. This historical saga continues to face competition from Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’, which has scored over Rs 484 crore at the domestic box office.
Both the films released together on December 1.
Sam Bahadur is based on the life of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw and stars Vicky Kaushal in the titular role. Fatima Sana Shaikh,
Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub essay pivotal parts in this historical saga, which is helmed by Meghna Gulzar.
Expressing gratitude after the film’s release and urging his followers to watch it in theatres, Vicky had shared on Instagram, “Makeup on, listen to his favourite jazz music and stare into that mirror till I start believing the guy in the mirror is Sam.
