Written and directed by Robbie Grewal, John Abharam starrer espionage thrilled 'Romeo Akbar Walter' (RAW) which also stars Mouni Roy as the female lead has continued with a decent collection at the box office. The film saw a normal drop on Tuesday. Set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan war of 1971, the film opened to mixed reviews. The film hit the screens on April 5.

According to the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Tuesday, the film has managed to rake in a total of Rs 2.25 crore on its fifth day at the box office. The film saw a drop of 10% on Tuesday from the previous day. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 25.75 crore in five days at the box office.

The film banks upon the patriotic sentiments based on a nationalistic theme. Talking about the wave of films in Bollywood based on nationalistic themes, John Abraham said that there is a thin line that divides patriotism from jingoism. The actor also said that if there is a wave of films that do address what the country needs to see at this point of time, then it's absolutely worth it.

The film is reportedly based on true events. The plot of the film revolves around a bank cashier (played by John) who is recruited by India’s foreign intelligence agency - the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). He operates as a secret agent in PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir) during the events leading up to the 1971 Indo-Pak war which led to the liberation of Bangladesh.

The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Mouni Roy, Raghubir Yadav, Sikander Kher and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi in pivotal roles.
