Prabhas and
Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ is off to a slow start in the Hindi circuits. The Telegu version of the film received a huge welcome from the audience but the Hindi collection of ‘Radhe Shyam’ has been less.
Despite a promising cast and hype around the release, ‘Radhe Shyam’ managed to collect around Rs 4.50 crore nett, reports Boxofficeindia. The figure may go up a bit if circuits like CP Berar, Odisha and Saurashtra report higher numbers.
‘Radhe Shyam’ is earning well in the mass centres and it remains to be seen if it will record a big jump on Saturday. The Telugu version of ‘Radhe Shyam’ has excelled at the box office and raked in around Rs 30 crore on its first day.
Along with ‘Radhe Shyam’,
Vivek Agnihotri directed ‘The Kashmir Files’ also released on Friday. Starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Darshan Kumar in lead roles, this film has done decent business, earning Rs 3.25 crore nett. The film received good occupancy as it released across 700 screens, mainly multiplexes. As soon as ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’ released in theatres, they were leaked online. Falling prey to piracy, both these films were reportedly available for free download on notorious Torrent websites.
