Prabhas and
Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ has been well received by the Tamil audience but in the Hindi circuit, the film has had an average response. After a slow start on Friday, the collection on Saturday also remained the same for the Hindi dubbed version of ‘Radhe Shyam’.
‘Radhe Shyam’ Hindi version is facing competition from Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’.
On Friday and Saturday, ‘Radhe Shyam’ earned Rs 4.50 crore at the box office. While the Hindi version stands at a total of Rs 9 crore in two days, the all languages collection of ‘Radhe Shyam’ was Rs 41 crore on day one. Directed by
Radha Krishna Kumar, ‘Radhe Shyam’ is a period love saga.
Speaking about working on ‘Radhe Shyam’, Prabhas had told ETimes in an interview, “I’ve never shown my hand to anyone, and the story felt so good. It felt like something unique and different in love. I never believed in palmistry, but I did want to listen to his story, and with every second I was like, wow, this is really good. I think I should do this. And I told him that and it's very interesting the way the story goes, the twists and the climax and the light feel... it's very good. And the ship episode, the visuals, the designing by the director, the sound designing, everything.”
