'Pushpa 2' box office collection day 48: Allu Arjun starrer mints only Rs 55 lakh on Tuesday, while ‘Emergency,’ and ‘Game Changer’ lead the race to claim the throne

‘Pushpa 2’ - the mega release of 2024, the pan India movie that redefined the fate of many, the film that smashed all records at the box office, has now come to the point where it is losing the throne to the newly released films. Headlined by Allu Arjun and Rashmika Manndana, the movie has completed more than a month at the box office, and after 48 days of its theatrical release, the total net collection of the movie in India is - Rs. 1229.40 crore. Coming to its day-wise collection, the movie minted roughly Rs.0.55 crore on Tuesday, which is lower than its Monday collection which stood at Rs. 0.65 crore, according to Sacnilk report.

Released in December 2024, the movie is now gradually losing its hold over the box office. If we talk about the rough estimates from the box office on Tuesday, then Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ earned Rs.1.07 crore, Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ minted Rs.0.75 crore, while ‘Azaad’ and ‘Pushpa 2’ had similar fate with Rs. 0.55 crore. One can see that the overall business has been a tab down on the weekdays, as even ‘Game Changer’ recorded its lowest.

However, when it comes to word of mouth, the audience is still under the spell.
