Anushka Sharma's horror flick
'Pari'
has been doing decent business at the box office since its release last Friday.
The film collected an estimated Rs 1.75 crore on Tuesday, as per a report on BoxofficeIndia.com, thus, taking its total collection to an estimated Rs 16.90 crore in five days.
From the beginning, the film has collected around Rs 4 crore, Rs 4.75 crore, Rs 4.50 crore and Rs 1.9 crore on its first Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday respectively.
Prosit Roy has marked his debut as a director with 'Pari'. The film also stars
Parambrata Chatterjee,
Ritabhari Chakraborty,
Rajat Kapoor and
Mansi Multani
in prominent roles.
After 'NH10' and 'Phillauri', this is the third film under Anushka's production banner.
The critics have praised the film for its content, which stays true to the horror genre. They also praised Anushka's performance, calling it the strongest work of her career. Along with it, even Parambrata and Rajat received word of appreciation for their roles.
