'Noor' is based on Pakistani author

's novel 'Karachi, You're Killing Me!’ and follows Indian journalist Noor's misadventures and love life as she navigates her way through the city of Mumbai. Sonakshi, who plays a journalist in the film, also took a moment to thank the journalists who have covered her through her years of stardom.


The film also stars Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli in other pivotal roles.
