'Mubarakan' box-office collection Day 4: Arjun Kapoor's film rakes in Rs 3.50 crore on its first Monday

'Mubarakan', starring Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor has been termed as a laughter riot by fans and critics alike. Going by the box-office numbers looks like this multi-starrer Aneez Bazmee film is cashing in on the good word of mouth factor.

According to the latest report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film has collected an estimated Rs 3.50 crore on its first Monday, taking the collections to Rs 26 crore in total. 'Mubarakan' started its run at the box-office with Rs 5 crore on Friday followed by Rs 7.25 on Saturday and Rs 10.25 on Sunday.

Arjun Kapoor, who is sharing screen space with his uncle and veteran actor Anil Kapoor for the very first time in 'Mubarakan', said that he spent so much time working with him on the movie that it helped them in taking their relationship to "another level".

Directed by Anees Bazmi, 'Mubarakan' features Arjun in a double role for the second time after the 2013 film 'Aurangzeb'. The film also features actresses Athiya Shetty and Ileana D'Cruz. The film has some electrifying party numbers of which the wedding number 'Google paake' is ruling the music charts.
