Hugh Jackman’s superhero film ‘Logan’ collected approximately Rs 4 crore (nett) on its opening day, according to a report on Boxofficeindia.com. The film hit the theatres in India on March 3.

The producers of the film too released their figures, which quoted that the latest installment in the ‘X-Men’ series earned Rs 4.75 crore (nett) in India on its first day of release.

, confirmed that this is his final turn as the clawed superhero. Jackman has been associated with the ‘X-Men’ film series for the past seventeen years and has appeared in nine installments. Needless to say, he has developed a huge fan following across the world who swear by his act of the superhero mutant with a heart of gold.

Interestingly, Jackman was recently asked who would be a fitting successor to his role of Wolverine. The Australian actor jokingly suggested that Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan could pick up the reins and carry on the legacy.
