Aamir Khan starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ continued with its downward trend on Wednesday. The film dipped further by 25-30 per cent. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ had recorded a massive fall on Tuesday owning to the end of the holiday season and its collections further dipped on day 7.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an adaptation of Hollywood hit ‘Forrest Gump’. The film has found few takers and added only Rs 1.50 crore to its total collection of Rs 49.25 crore nett. This Advait Chandan directorial marginally missed the 50 crore mark. While Friday is Janmashtami holiday, not much of a boost is expected from the film. At the end of its first week at the box office, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is expected to earn a total of Rs 51 crore nett. The fate of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Raksha Bandhan’, which clashed with ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ at the box office, is similar.
