Khel Khel Mein Box Office Collection Day 10: Akshay Kumar starrer sees good growth on Saturday

Akshay Kumar has been facing a lean phase at the box office post pandemic, with the exception of OMG 2 and Sooryavanshi being liked by the audience. His latest film Khel Khel Mein was expected to revive his fortunes, but the clash with Amar Kaushik directed Stree 2 deeply affected its prospects. But given the strong word of mouth, the film is still managing to stay afloat and continue to gather a decent amount at the box office.

In the first week Khel Khel Mein earned Rs 19.35 crore, on its second Friday the film witnessed a 30 percent drop over its Thursday collection and earned just Rs 70 lakh. But on Saturday, the film’s collection jumped by nearly 65 percent to Rs 1.25 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The total collection of Khel Khel Mein stands at Rs 21.30 crore.

Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz and has a stellar cast of Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal.

Besides Stree 2 and Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency releasing on September 6, Khel Khel Mein can expect a pretty steady ride at the box office. Akshay has a very interesting slate of films lined up for release, from Sky Force releasing on 2nd October to Singham Again arriving on Diwali.

He will also be seen in Welcome to the Jungle, Jolly LLB 3 and The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair next year. He has also reportedly joined hands with Siddharth Anand for his next production venture, which will be directed by Milan Lutharia.
