‘Kesari 2’ box office collections day 22: Akshay Kumar starrer collects Rs 131.25 crores worldwide

Akshay Kumar’s historical drama ‘Kesari 2’ continues its successful run at the box office, collecting Rs 131.25 crore globally in 22 days. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film has received a warm response from audiences, especially in India.


Steady Momentum at the Domestic Box Office
According to the Sacnilk website, the film has managed to collect Rs 83.92 crore (India net) and Rs 99.15 crore (India gross) over its 22-day run. While the initial weekend saw a massive opening with Rs 12 crore on Day 1 and Rs 9.75 crore on Day 2, the collections stabilized during the weekdays.

It is worth noting that 'Kesari 2' performed well through its second week, collecting Rs 8.1 crore on Day 9 and Rs 7.15 crore on Day 10, maintaining strong word-of-mouth among audiences. The third week, although slower, still kept the cash registers ringing with consistent earnings between Rs 57 lakhs to Rs 2.5 crore on weekdays.


By Day 22, the film added Rs 57 lakhs to its total, continuing its steady journey despite new releases hitting screens.

Apart from its domestic success, 'Kesari 2' has also done commendably well overseas, earning Rs 32.1 crore internationally. This overseas contribution has significantly boosted the film’s worldwide total to ₹131.25 crore, marking it as one of Akshay Kumar’s stronger box office performers in recent times.


Its patriotic themes, high-stakes action, and emotionally charged performances have helped ‘Kesari 2’ connect with the Indian diaspora abroad, particularly in North America, the UK, and Australia.
