'Karwaan' box-office collection Day 3: Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar starrer collects Rs 3.50 crore

Akarsh Khurana's directorial 'Karwaan' which stars Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar in pivotal roles has grown at the box-office leaving behind its other competitors.
'Karwaan' which opened at Rs 1.50 crore and then earned Rs 2.75 crore on Saturday, has gone on to collect Rs 3.50 crore on its first Sunday, which has helped the film reach a total collection of Rs 7.75 crore, as per a report on BoxofficeIndia.com.
With a good review from the critics and word of mouth from the audience, 'Karwaan' has managed to grow and looks like this upward trend is sure to help it last longer at the box office.
Mithila, who is promoting the film along with her co-star Dulquer Salmaan in absence of Irrfan, as he is undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumour in London opened up about him. She said, "It was extremely heartbreaking to hear this (Irrfan's illness) but all our love and prayers are with him. He is a fighter. Hope we see him very soon. These promotions are completely incomplete without him. He brings the most vibrant and refreshing flavour of him in 'Karwaan'."
