Kartam Bhugtam box office collection day 1: Shreyas Talpade starrer records a slow start with Rs 16 lakh

Shreyas Talpade has been a very competent performer in Hindi and Marathi cinema, having delivered praiseworthy performances in films like ‘Iqba’l, ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Golmaal’ Series, ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe?’ Etc. But the actor’s latest release Kartum Bhugtam, has recorded a slow start, The film opened to just Rs 16 lakh on day 1, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. This film is directed by Soham Shah and also stars Vijay Raaz and Madhoo

The coming days will decide the ultimate fate of Shreyas’s film. Up ahead, the actor has a lot of things on his plate. He will be dubbing for Allu Arjun’s character of Pushpa Raj in Pushpa 2- The Rule, which is slated for release on August 15. He will also be seen sharing screen with a host of actors like Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal etc in the third installment of Welcome series, titled ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. This film is currently being shot on a set that is spread over 10 acres. He also has Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency in the pipeline, wherein Shreyas plays the role of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film was slated for release on June 14, but has been postponed as Kangana, who is also the producer and director of the film, is busy with the elections.

Last year, Shreyas made headlines when he suffered a heart attack in the month of December. In recent interviews he has shared updates on his health, stating that by the next 4 to 6 months he will have fully recovered and till then he is taking it slow.
